Dr Herbst is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Palaeontology and Biomechanics at the Palaeontological Institute and Museum, University of Zurich. She was granted the IBP OEM award for creating educational guides, codes, and video on two topics: 1) mesh generation for FEA and 3D printing 2) segmenting trabecular from cortical bone.
